Job Description

As a Radiologic Technologist at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, you will assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and administering contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Prepare and position patients for scanning procedures.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately for optimal imaging results.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following accepted protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormal findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (ARRT).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
