Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring they are prepared for any tax-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing education and training to clients on tax-related matters.

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment, or equivalent.
