As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with medical staff and residents to ensure their needs are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs and reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observing resident conditions and reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Serving meals and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, keeping resident rooms clean, and changing linens
  • Communicating with medical staff and residents, and serving as a conduit between the two

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals and residents
