Productive Resources LLC is in search of a skilled professional to join our engineering team at a prominent client facility. The selected individual will serve as an ePowertrain Integration Specialist, engaging with the ePowertrain New Product Introduction (NPI) simulation team. This role requires close collaboration with various ePowertrain component and subsystem teams, including power sources, power electronics, motors, and control systems, to accurately simulate the performance of ePowertrain systems for specific configurations.
The primary responsibilities include executing simulation requests related to ePowertrain NPI and effectively communicating the results and insights gained. Additionally, the specialist will work alongside the simulation team to document essential simulation processes and ensure adherence to these protocols. This position also involves the development of innovative simulation capabilities aimed at predicting the performance and durability of ePowertrain systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with ePowertrain component and subsystem teams to simulate system performance for designated configurations.
- Execute ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and convey findings and insights.
- Document and maintain core simulation processes, ensuring compliance.
- Innovate and develop new simulation capabilities to enhance performance predictions.
- Report on the progress of simulation requests and document significant findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant corporate experience in 1D simulation for system performance prediction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Engineering.
- Experience in developing and applying 1D physics-based simulations for powertrain systems.
