We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Kansas City Dental Implants and Oral Surgery. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and provide a warm welcome to our office
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the doctor's schedule to ensure efficient use of their time
- Provide cost estimates and collect patient financial responsibility
- Manage patient insurance information and update records as necessary
- Partner with the clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience
- Collect payments from patients in an effective and professional manner
- Understand doctor treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans from diagnosis
- Effectively communicate treatment options and associated costs to patients
- Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of customer service experience required
- Medical or dental experience preferred
- Understanding of dental terminology
- Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence
- Basic office skills such as typing and filing
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
