Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of production staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and control gas cylinder processing, scheduling, and training to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Develop and implement plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Train new workers and cross-train employees to continue production during personnel shortages.
  • Coordinate the proper inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher degree/certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working in a leadership role within a distribution environment preferred.
  • Prior experience with compressed gases, gas analysis, and gas lab equipment preferred.
  • Prior experience with production control records and SAP preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Documents applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage metrics and related tools to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
