Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, your main duties will include:
1. Analyzing and assessing current systems and workflows to identify both value-added and non-value-added tasks.
2. Applying mathematical, scientific, and engineering principles to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Discovering methods to minimize waste and improve productivity in manufacturing.
4. Researching and evaluating design concepts for feasibility, employing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to support innovation and continuous improvement.
5. Developing and refining manufacturing concepts to optimize processes, ensuring adherence to best practices through structural and thermal analysis, prototype development, and performance evaluation.
6. Creating and updating essential manufacturing documentation, including process flow diagrams, capacity studies, time and motion assessments, standard operating procedures, cycle time evaluations, and line balancing.
7. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to gather insights and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Practical experience in prototype development
- Proficiency in analytical tools and process optimization techniques.
