Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Key Accounts for Export/Import customer service activities.
  2. Oversee the efficient handling of Ocean Export and Import shipments through appropriate channels and meticulous planning.
  3. Implement company SOPs consistently to ensure smooth shipment handling according to client or agent requirements.
  4. Provide prompt and courteous service to agents and end-customers through the customer service and operations teams.
  5. Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  6. Engage with customers and liaise with CHAs, Transporters, CFS, and ICD for efficient operations.
  7. Arrange surveys, inspections, and certificates from vendors as needed.
  8. Ensure timely updates of Daily Status Reports (DSR) as per company policy and distribute them to customers and management.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with overseas agents and clients for FOB selling and nominations, and leverage cross-country trade leads.
  10. Support the Ocean Export & Import operations team as required.
  11. Address client grievances and manage customs-related issues.
  12. In the Admin Desk, select the appropriate vendors, negotiate, finalize rate contracts, and complete vendor registrations with regular follow-ups.
  13. Proactively follow up on contract renewals to ensure completion before expiration.
  14. Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular review meetings, providing feedback to the Head Office.
  15. Maintain vendor outstanding balances and coordinate with the Finance team for timely payment releases and TDS certificate arrangements.

Job Requirements:

Preferably, candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in import/export trafficking functions with a freight forwarder or broker, along with two to four years of experience in customer service roles.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Teamwork and leadership experience are highly valued, as is the capability to learn various computer programs.
