Job Summary

PRN Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and conducting assessments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action in response to changes.
  • Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections, and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, preferably in a travel nursing setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
