Position Overview: This role goes beyond traditional pharmacy duties. We seek individuals who are eager to engage in comprehensive patient care rather than merely filling prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Promote Thrifty White initiatives such as Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx, assisting patients in enrollment.
- Lead the pharmacy team by exemplifying high standards in patient service and mentoring staff.
- Organize and streamline workflows for efficient prescription processing and patient counseling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with long-term care facilities, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Identify opportunities for growth in Long Term Care and Specialty business, collaborating with marketing teams.
- Dispense medications and provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require extended periods of standing and the ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds. Candidates should be capable of performing tasks that involve talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers for handling tools and controls.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid pharmacy license or eligibility to obtain one without federal sanctions.
- PharmD or MTM Certification (with proof of completion from an accredited program).
- Current Immunization and CPR Certifications.
- NPI Number.
