About the Role:

Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in providing top-notch pediatric dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.
  • Perform expanded functions, such as taking and developing dental X-rays, managing patient records, and educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Tennessee.
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Radiology certification.
  • CPR certification.
