**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Transport Team at El Paso Children's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care during transport, working closely with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient delivery of care.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, rotating position that requires three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in adult, pediatric, neonatal critical care or emergency medicine. Critical care transport experience is preferred. You will need to be able to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, manage, control, and evaluate patients during transport under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Administrative Director, and Medical Director.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor unit preceptor programs in collaboration with nurse managers.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Texas.
  • Current CPR Training program required.
  • Current ACLS, PALS, and/or APLS certifications.
  • NRP and STABLE provider certifications required within three months of employment.
  • Completion of ATNC or auditing of TNCC or ENPC within the first year of employment.
  • Completion of PNCCT, TNATC, and advanced flight physiology certification within two years of employment.
  • Completion of CTRN and CFRN or C-NPT within two years of employment.
  • CCRN certification preferred.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $108,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
