Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to stable patients with predictable outcomes under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Participate in the care of complicated unstable patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• NJ State Practical Nursing License.
• BLS - Healthcare Provider certification, Basic EKG certification, IV certification within 3 months of hire.
• 1 year of experience in acute care nursing preferred.
Work Environment
• Bi-weekly hours: 72.
• Work schedule: 8:30A - 6P.
