Mail Center Operations Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mail Center Operations Associate. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that requires a valid driver's license and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Mail Center Software to process, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages from various carriers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and faculty, including tracking missing or mislabeled packages.
  • Develop and implement mail procedures and prioritize department workflow during times of high traffic.
  • Train and direct student workers each semester.
  • Represent the college as the liaison between all carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon).
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office helpful.
  • Valid driver's license and a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain working relations with students, faculty, and staff.
Working Conditions

The Mail Center Operations Associate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, walking, and stair/ladder climbing required. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength. Work is performed inside and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
