Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement anesthesia care plans, administer anesthetics, and monitor patients' responses to anesthesia.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement anesthesia care plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Administer anesthetics, including local, intravenous, spinal, and general anesthesia.
- Monitor patients' responses to anesthesia and take corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in anesthesia care.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited CRNA program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Current National Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
