POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Nurse is accountable for delivering high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessment, effective treatment, and thorough discharge planning. This role also encompasses patient education and various other responsibilities essential to the nursing profession.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring all assessments and treatments are conducted with precision.
- Develop and implement discharge plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Registered Nurse License in Colorado.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, or completion within six months of hire.
- Completion of a Basic EKG/Telemetry course within one month of employment.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Engage in continuous movement throughout the healthcare facility.
- Perform intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
- Maintain continuous standing for up to 7 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 30% of body weight.
- Proficient in reading and comprehending English.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional interaction with physicians, patients, families, and staff, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Uphold confidentiality in all matters.
- Maintain composure during crisis scenarios.
- Capable of executing advanced mathematical calculations.
