Role Responsibilities:
The Plant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the overall effectiveness of the facility, focusing on safety, quality assurance, timely delivery, productivity, and cost management. This position entails supervising the production, maintenance, and quality control operations within the Pocahontas manufacturing site. The successful candidate will coordinate the activities of all manufacturing departments to align with corporate objectives, enhance quality systems, and elevate customer satisfaction.

- Strategically allocating resources, including personnel and materials.
- Monitoring operational performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

- Analyzing data to minimize waste and enhance operational efficiency.
- Developing systems to track performance metrics and achieve optimal productivity.
- Managing manufacturing budgets and exploring cost-reduction strategies.
- Applying Lean manufacturing principles to refine processes and meet organizational goals.
- Addressing employee concerns to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of business management principles, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and productivity standards in manufacturing.
- Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
