Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) and provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens as appropriate
  • Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as needed
  • Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing, care coordinators, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and billing data
  • Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs
  • Provide regular peer review and feedback to other medical providers
  • Assist in training and mentorship of Physician's Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other clinical and outreach providers
  • Participate in education of clinical students and community partners
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in Psychiatry
  • Valid medical license in Arizona
  • Current CPR certification
  • Participation in continuing medical education programs
  • Valid fingerprint clearance card
  • Board certification in Psychiatry preferred
  • Three or more years of clinical experience preferred
