HCA Florida Healthcare is in search of a Critical Care Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.
Position OverviewAs a vital member of our healthcare family, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. Our nurses are recognized for their dedication and compassion, making a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
- Educate patients and their families on medication management and treatment protocols.
- Provide high-quality care with a focus on continuous improvement and patient safety.
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or be eligible for licensure.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is advantageous but must be acquired within two years of employment.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification is required within 30 days of hire.
