Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of a significant educational program within the institution. The incumbent will work closely with the President to ensure that the instructional services align with the college's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and assess the curriculum and instructional programs to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Lead initiatives in institutional effectiveness and program evaluation.
- Set clear goals for the instructional division that reflect the institution's mission.
- Spearhead the development of student learning outcomes in line with accreditation requirements.
- Guide the growth of enrollment and associated instructional facilities.
- Prepare and manage budget proposals, ensuring effective allocation and monitoring of resources.
Leadership and Communication:
- Provide direction and support to instructional faculty and staff, overseeing recruitment and evaluation processes.
- Facilitate faculty and staff training and orientation programs.
- Effectively communicate the mission and objectives of the instructional division to all stakeholders.
Collaboration and Representation:
- Actively participate in district committees and maintain collaborative relationships with various administrative bodies.
- Represent the institution at local, state, and national forums to promote instructional programs.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in managing educational programs within higher education.
