Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse- Labor and Delivery to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. in Adrian, MI.
About the JobThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year of experience as a registered L&D nurse and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse- Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Monitoring and Assessment: Closely monitor critically ill patients, assessing vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their condition to respond immediately to emergencies.
- Administering Medications and Treatments: Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timing while observing for adverse reactions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and documentation for all procedures, medications, and patient observations for quality assurance and legal purposes.
- MI RN License
- **Required to float to women's units, within service line**
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM Required
- AWHONN Advanced Preferred if do not have NCC
- Advanced EFM or Intermediate with last 2yrs
- STABLE Certifications Preferred
- Charge Experience Preferred
- Epic Preferred
- 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
