Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Wound Care Program. This role is designed for a professional who is eager to engage with patients across all age groups and perform essential procedures such as wound debridement.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wound care consultations and follow-up appointments.
- Assist physicians with bedside debridement and bone biopsies in an inpatient environment.
- Participate in nursing home rounds and contribute to the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Engage in outpatient clinic coverage and provide care in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
As a prominent teaching hospital, our team plays a vital role in educating PAs, medical staff, and interdisciplinary professionals on wound care topics.
Position DetailsThis is a permanent, full-time role with a schedule from Monday to Friday. While prior experience in wound care is preferred, it is not mandatory.

QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid NYS license with a PA certificate and have a minimum of two years of experience as a PA, ideally with some exposure to wound or burn-related care.
