About the RoleAs a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. You will work alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment that is guided by diversity and inclusion while driving towards the Quadruple Aim.
Key Highlights- Full spectrum ENT with large catchment area
- 4 days per week
- 36 contact hours, 1.5 days OR
- 2.5 days Office
- Schedule is somewhat negotiable
- Joining 4 total ENTs, 1 PA-C, 3 Audiologists, 2 RNs, 3 MAs, and 2 seasoned Surgery Schedulers
- 20-24 patients per day average
- Shared hospital call
- Epic EMR
- DAX
- Subspecialties in department include Head and Neck, Facial Plastics, and Laryngology
- Subspecialty focus welcome but not required
- New and fully equipped clinical space with established referral base; ASC and 2 procedure rooms on-site
- Collegial local community ENT groups and excellent state academy with yearly academic meetings (NWAO)
- Treating and managing patients according to standard, usual, and customary methods and techniques.
- Provides understanding of diagnosis, treatment, therapy and management of patients according to current standards of care utilizing best practice recommendations.
- Counsels and educates patients and families.
- Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Communicates effectively and respectfully with physicians, other health professionals, and staff.
- Coordinates care with multidisciplinary team members.
- Follows ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and unanticipated adverse outcomes.
- Demonstrates the highest level of accountability for professional practice.
- Maintains effectiveness throughout changing circumstances. Is flexible, resilient, and change oriented.
- Participates in organizational and departmental meetings, educational opportunities, committees, and workgroups as necessary.
