About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation attorney to join our team in Southfield, MI. As a key member of our law department, you will be responsible for handling complex civil litigation cases with exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, rules of evidence, no fault, and trial strategy.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of time-sensitive cases with strong oral advocacy and writing skills
  • Developing and implementing effective trial strategies to achieve successful outcomes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide excellent client service and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • An active license to practice law in Michigan and be a member in good standing with the state bar
  • At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, including experience handling No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability litigation
  • Jury trial experience is a plus
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
Work Environment

You will be based in our Southfield, MI office and will work in a hybrid role, meaning that you will spend some time in the office and virtually. We offer a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
