Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine need for occupational therapy intervention and make referrals to other treatment team members as needed.
  • Plan occupational therapy treatment programs based on interpretation of evaluation results and explain treatment plans to patients and families.
  • Implement treatment or supervise treatment provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or occupational therapy students, delegating routine care to supportive personnel when appropriate.
  • Terminate occupational therapy services when patients have attained maximum benefit and provide in-service education to ensure follow-through of treatment programs.
  • Evaluate, record, and report on patient progress for review by rehabilitation teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school required.
  • Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice required.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association required.
Compensation

$37.46 - $57.80 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
