Job Summary:The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a variety of physical activities that require strength and flexibility, including handling, positioning, and manipulating equipment and materials. This role involves emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting.
Responsibilities:- Operate and set up cleaning equipment, such as high-pressure pumps and vacuum trucks, in accordance with operational and safety procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
- Manually clean, install, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other equipment on tanks.
- Assist in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, and work areas prior to starting a job, and inform supervisors of any deficiencies that may cause accidents or injuries.
- Ability to travel for extended periods and respond to emergency calls 24/7.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and high elevations.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50lb hoses.
- Successful completion of a drug screen, pre-employment physical, and background checks.
- Hydro-blasting or pressure cleaning experience.
- General labor experience.
