Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in a part-time capacity. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacy staff in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, delivering filled prescriptions to patients, and performing cashier duties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions and verify patient information, including name, address, phone number, date of birth, allergies, and chronic conditions.
  • Assess the workload, establish prescription pick-up times, and queue prescriptions for processing.
  • Deliver prescriptions to patients, obtain signatures, and perform cash register duties within the Pharmacy Department.
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers and maintain a professional environment by performing housekeeping duties, replenishing supplies, and maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Stay up-to-date with State and Federal requirements related to employment and complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS Degree or higher preferred.
  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (for Vermont employees).
  • Preferred experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position will be determined based on relevant skills, years of experience, and education. KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is a multistate organization that abides by local, state, and federal regulations regarding minimum wage requirements.
