Hydrographic Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Hydrographic Data Specialist to join our team at McKim & Creed, Inc. As a key member of our hydrographic survey team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and precision of hydrographic data.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise the planning and execution of hydrographic surveys
- Communicate with field personnel to ensure data collection is performed according to client's scope of work
- Verify field data collection accuracy and implement quality control measures
- Process and review multibeam, single beam, side scan, magnetometer, and sub bottom data
- Analyze hydrographic data to generate reports, charts, and maps
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, Oceanography, or related field
- 5+ years of professional hydrographic survey experience
- Experience in managing and processing hydrographic or geospatial data
- Proficiency in Hydrographic data processing software (preferably Hypack and SonarWiz)
- CAD experience required (Civil 3D, ArcGIS, MicroStation knowledge)
