The Transitional Neuro Unit is a specialized 6-bed unit dedicated to the care of patients transitioning from the Neuro Critical Care unit. This unit provides comprehensive care for individuals with neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes
- Cerebral aneurysms
- Brain tumors
- Infections of the brain and spine
- Complex spine surgeries
- Hydrocephalus
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Seizures and status epilepticus
- Isolated neurotrauma

Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory; commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
- BLS Certification is essential.
