Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Host to guide our guests to their tables and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all appearance standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation standards according to the Department of Health and company guidelines.
  • Actively seat guests at assigned tables directed by the Maitre D'.
  • Assist with answering guest inquiries and providing information about the menu and services.
  • Assist with coat check and other belongings (where applicable).
  • Assist with setting up the front desk area, performing side-work, and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
  • Ensure that all appropriate menus are printed and ready for service.
  • Collect menus throughout the venue during the shift.
  • Report all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, or departmental meetings.
  • Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Company, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
  • Work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Company in-venue host training.
  • Previous hospitality experience.
  • Previous host experience.
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Description

$18.00 per hour DOE
