Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments, collect vital signs, and record treatment data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and set up patient stations, including equipment and supplies, to ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment.
- Administer dialysis treatments, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of dialysis equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (NNCC or BONET) certification required.
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
The Dialysis Technician 3 will work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to patients undergoing dialysis treatments. The position requires the ability to lift and move patients, as well as work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and responsibilities.
