Imaging Technologist Opportunity

Laredo Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Administer contrast materials and perform venipuncture as needed
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment, positioning patients for optimal image capture
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns
  • Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by department protocols
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology
  • Four (4) years or more of direct CT experience, or ARRT-CT Comp Tomography Certified
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technology or eligible
  • State license or certification if applicable
  • Advanced ARRT/CT Registration required or experience
  • CPR required within 30 days from hire date
