Job Summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist Floater to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and medication therapy services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Review and compound medication orders for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, taking into account dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease states.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and monitor orders filled by auxiliary personnel to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Provide patient-focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to optimize medication therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
  • Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
