M.C. Dean is looking for experienced Riggers to become part of our dynamic workforce. In this role, you will be tasked with establishing and maintaining rigging systems for the safe transport of substantial machinery. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating and preparing loads, choosing appropriate rigging equipment, and collaborating with the rigging crew to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Primary Duties:
- Assemble materials prior to loading and configure rigging apparatus.
- Manage heavy machinery operations and supervise rigging setups.
- Effectively communicate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Dismantle rigging systems and perform inspections after rigging tasks.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in rigging.
- Possession of Level 1 NCCCO certification.
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of rigging tools and heavy equipment operation.
Skills:
- Ability to lift weights exceeding 100 pounds and work at heights up to 60 feet.
- Capable of walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead regularly.
- Good vision and hearing capabilities.
- Ability to apply general principles to specific scenarios and synthesize information to draw conclusions.
