Position Overview- Specialty: Radiology Technologist

- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts during the day
This role involves performing radiographic procedures under the guidance of a radiologist or other healthcare providers. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures and operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Conducting diagnostic studies while adhering to established protocols and safety measures.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining effective communication with patients and staff.
- Assisting in patient care areas and performing ancillary services as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Document patient medical histories and ensure proper radiation protection measures are followed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, assisting with exam room preparation and supply management.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT registration in diagnostic radiology and state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of college coursework in a healthcare-related field.
