Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Farmhand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with horses and ponies, as well as laboratory animals, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily care and maintenance of horses and ponies, including feeding, cleaning stalls, and providing veterinary care.
  • Help with research projects on UK's Woodford farm, including data collection and animal handling.
  • Perform various farm-related tasks, such as mowing and weed eating.
  • Work collaboratively with the farm team to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with horses and farm equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 65 lbs.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays, with some weekday work possible.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skills and knowledge related to farm work and horse handling.
