Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning of automotive software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Testing: Review and interpret current software configurations on test fleet vehicles, execute vehicle software flashing via end-of-line programming systems, and perform manual updates as needed.
  • Issue Tracking and Communication: Record all software sets and parameters, create and track issue tickets related to failed software flashing, and communicate with engineering and fleet management teams on actions and next steps.
  • Vehicle Finalization and Troubleshooting: Coordinate vehicle software and parameter finalization, gather feedback and actions from shakedown, and develop proficiency in software/CAN tools for vehicle troubleshooting.
  • Training and Development: Participate and pass all relevant training, including Prototype Vehicle Build: Troubleshooting, and develop expertise in software/CAN tools for vehicle troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • System Engineering Experience: 2+ years of experience in system engineering, including system integration and testing, with a focus on automotive ECUs.
  • Automotive Software Experience: 2+ years of total automotive software experience, including calibration development, controls development, and test case development.
  • Vehicle Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience in vehicle troubleshooting, including acquiring and parsing CAN logs from vehicles.
