We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist to join our team at the Air Force Reserve Command. As a member of our Public Affairs division/directorate, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to promote the command's mission and values.

About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and initiatives, from developing marketing campaigns to advising senior leaders on communication strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public affairs, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to think strategically.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote the command's mission and values.
  2. Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on communication matters.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of public affairs specialists to achieve project goals and objectives.
  4. Represent the organization with various councils, boards, working groups, and panels inside and outside the agency.

We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

The selected candidate will be based in Robins AFB, Georgia, and will be required to work on call and/or to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate level security clearance as a condition of employment.
