Principal ATE Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal ATE Test Engineer to join our team at Ampere. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting NPI and volume production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop engineering, characterization, and production test programs
- Integrate production test programs, ensuring quality, release, and documentation
- Design and debug probe card, final test load board, and socket hardware
- Interface with DFT team for test pattern delivery and ATE checkout
- Support ATE-to-SLT correlation, RMA, reliability, and failure analysis related tests on ATE
- Collaborate with Asia PTE team to ensure smooth production ramp and resolve ATE-related production issues
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, or related field and 8 years' semiconductor test engineering experience; or MS degree and 6 years' experience
- Hands-on experience in VLSI SoC or microprocessor product bring-up and productization
- Strong Advantest V93K test program development and scripting skills
- Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
- Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction
- Solid background in ATE testing, test methodologies, silicon process and DFT/DFM
- Familiarity with JTAG/SCAN/ATPG/MBIST/SerDes tests a plus
