About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Welding Craftsman to join our team at Compositech Products Manufacturing. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks, working with various metal alloys, and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex welding techniques using carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic metals.

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to interpret mechanical shop drawings and provide design input concerning weld distortion.

• Produce weldments that meet size and length requirements within specified tolerances.

• MIG and TIG (Heliarc) weld with thorough knowledge of flux-core and shielded wire welding.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 years of experience in welding or a related field preferred.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a safe working environment.

• Strong communication skills and ability to read and understand English.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
