Job Description:
This role involves routine laboratory assessments of food products. It necessitates meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational capabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Preferred qualifications based on prior laboratory experience include:
- Adherence to laboratory and plant safety protocols
- Precise weighing, pipetting, and quantitative transfer of solutions and samples, ability to safely handle hazardous materials, preparation of solutions
- Operation and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
- Collaborate and maintain a laboratory environment as part of a team
- Organize tasks to optimize output and meet deadlines
- Conduct analytical testing
- Comply with QA/QC standards
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with Operations and FSQ regarding analytical matters
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma
OTHER QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Technical proficiency, sound judgment and problem-solving skills, adaptability, results-oriented, teamwork, and integrity. - Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Capability to work independently.
- Organizational skills to manage workload and maintain accurate documentation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business and laboratory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic Word and Excel applications.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Required safety gear includes steel-toe boots and white t-shirts.
- All jewelry must be removable.
