Vascular Ultrasound Technician

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary studies, ensuring a balance between patient needs and the smooth operation of the clinic. Your role will also involve providing an exceptional service experience for each patient.

This position requires flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Support the Physician in communicating the treatment plan to patients, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient visits.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as directed by the Physician to ensure treatment efficacy and patient safety.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain patient flow throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely patient care.
  • Enhance and uphold the quality of work and skills in alignment with the company's care standards through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to ensure effective operational continuity.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program, mandatory.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), mandatory.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and outstanding patient care abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, effective prioritization, and teamwork.
