We are seeking a highly skilled CMP Operator to join our team at II-VI Incorporated. As a CMP Operator, you will be responsible for performing CMP-polishing steps, inspecting and measuring wafers, and documenting results. You will also be involved in process development, maintenance, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Assist in polishing experiments as part of engineering-directed, contract or internally funded, process development programs.
- Manufacturing: Perform CMP-polishing steps as per Operating Procedures (SOPs) to obtain optimal wafer parameters, inspect and measure wafers, and document results.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in preventive maintenance, perform routine tasks, and maintain clean semiconductor production work areas.
- Training and Development: Support the training of new employees assigned to the CMP process.
- Education: High School Diploma. College level courses in math, physics, metrology, or chemistry are preferred.
- Experience: Experience with networked PC-based computer systems, operating computer-controlled equipment, and problem analysis and resolution.
- Skills: Technical inclination with mechanical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Manufacturing/Production Environment: Manufacturing/production environment with some noise.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and good hand dexterity.
