Our Linguists are essential in converting sensitive content from ASL Spanish into English, aiding law enforcement in the collection and evaluation of crucial information.

Position Overview:

  • Convert intercepts from American Sign Language
  • Deliver both verbal and written summaries to the Client
  • Assist in the development of slang and code terminology
  • Create transcriptions that meet court standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma with 7 years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in transcription
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
  • Exceptional verbal and written proficiency in the target language
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Security Clearance:

Candidates may be required to undergo a government background check and obtain security clearance.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move as needed
  • Capability to write, type, and operate a telephone system
  • Prolonged sitting while monitoring calls
