Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Encryption Protocols and Data Protection Solutions: Implement encryption protocols, key management, and data protection solutions in cloud environments, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Cloud Security Threats and Trends: Stay up to date with the latest cloud security threats and trends, and proactively identify new security solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and development teams to ensure cloud security practices are integrated into system architecture, ensuring the security and integrity of cloud environments.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and others relevant to the business, maintaining the security and integrity of cloud environments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field is required.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Cloud Security: 3+ years of experience in cloud security or related roles is required.
  • Strong Experience with Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Cloud Security Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of cloud security frameworks, IAM, encryption methods, and vulnerability management is required.
  • Experience with Security Tools: Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability scanners is required.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps Practices: Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Scripting Skills: Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other languages to automate security processes is required.
  • Familiarity with Compliance Standards: Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST is required.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or CISSP are preferred.
  • Experience with Container Security: Experience with container security for Docker and Kubernetes environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture: Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and principles is preferred.
