Job Overview:
EXCEPTIONAL COLLISION REPAIR SPECIALIST WANTED (ONSITE)
Pay ranges starting from $75,000 to $100,000 + depending on experience and location

The Collision Repair Specialist is primarily responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience through meticulous evaluation and quality restoration of each vehicle to return it to its pre-accident state. The Collision Repair Specialist disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles while playing a crucial role in our commitment to speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position requires collaboration with all team members to achieve the repair facility's key performance indicators and uphold the company's brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Plan necessary repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers. Utilize various tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers for vehicle repairs.
  • Repair minor body damage by hammering out dents and applying filler resins when necessary.
  • Realign vehicle chassis and frames to address structural damage.
  • Remove damaged vehicle sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts. Repair or replace glass and windshields as required.
  • Replace or repair interior components as needed.
  • Weld and fit parts into place, and prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or agreed-upon equivalents.
  • Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure all work has been executed correctly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as a collision repair technician.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other repair technicians.
  • Thorough understanding of methods and procedures for vehicle body repair.
  • Proficient in using tools required for the trade.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy environment with various odors present.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
  • Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in diverse weather conditions.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
