Medical Rehabilitation Therapist

This role involves working with patients who have experienced physical mobility or functional independence decline due to injuries or conditions. You will assess, treat, and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to help patients achieve optimal recovery and return to function. A strong foundation in orthopedic rehab, neurological, and stroke rehab is essential. Experience working with balance and dizziness disorders, as well as chronic pain management using movement therapy, is a plus. As part of the Rehabilitation team at Samaritan, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams will be crucial in achieving positive outcomes. To succeed in this role, you must hold a current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license, possess Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Travel to multiple points of care will be required.
