We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and provide essential support in administering prescribed physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

\
  • Administer medically prescribed physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability following an injury or loss of a body part under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding physical therapy on an ongoing basis
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings to Physical Therapist
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

\
  • One to three years' experience as a PTA preferred
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
