Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity setting. You will assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity CVICU setting.
* Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
* Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
* Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications.
Requirements
* Current RN license
* BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
* 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience
* Strong communication and adaptability skills
