Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Service Porter to join our team at Ryan Auto Group. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.   • Clean and maintain service areas, including technician stalls, service department, and halls.
  • Perform routine building maintenance to minimize disruption to customers and employees.
  • Ensure all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines are clean and well-maintained.
  • Maintain hot beverage areas, including cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.
  • Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies as needed.
  • Clean driveways and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
  • Remove all debris from the lot.
  • Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Drain and dispose of used oil filters properly.
  • Remove old scrap parts from the shop after checking with the parts and service manager.
  • Assist technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
  • Run errands as directed by the foreman and pick up and deliver parts as needed.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Willing to submit a background check and MVR.
  • Due to insurance requirements, applicant must be 21 or older to apply.
